These free-of-charge meetings are pretty much free-flowing, with all chameleon topics open for discussion. "Show and Tell" discussions are common. We continue to experiment with group bulk-buys (silkworms, hornworms, superworms, crickets, dubias etc.) at our meetings. Some members may be bringing these feeders to sell but that's not guaranteed. Let us know if you are looking for these feeders (or anything else) and we'll try to confirm availability (pre-ordering) before the meeting. Some keepers bring their chameleon books and magazines along with other various items to spark discussions.

Don't hesitate to RSVP with an email to: [email protected] if you think you might be coming. Didn't RSVP? Come anyway!

On your way and got lost? For this meeting, call Dave Weldon on his cell phone# 310-600-4793.

Our group ranges from long-time breeders to novice keepers. Lately, there have been 20+ members attending. There are usually new members at every meeting.

No guarantees but there are usually snacks and drinks brought-in by some of the attendees. You’re welcome to bring some too!

See You There,

SBCK

(NOTE)
The www.chameleonforums.com has added a "Social Group" area that our SBCK members, or those wishing to join the SBCK group, can associate themselves to by requesting an "Invite" (https://www.chameleonforums.com/groups/south-bay-chameleon-keepers.html). Our purpose for having the SBCK Group area on this Forum is to help SBCK members keep track of who & how to contact other SBCK members. The term "Member" is used loosely to mean anyone who attends the free meetings. If you have no intention of ever attending any of the face-to-face meetings there is no benefit to being part of the group and you will likely not be "Added" or kept in this Social Group list . This SBCK group area is not intended to replace the main forum. Use the regular Forum area for all posts. Use the SBCK group area as a means of locating other SBCK members to send PMs etc. Continue to use the latest monthly "Meeting Invite" posting as a place to post to the SBCK members at are also "ChameleonForums" members. There are still a few SBCK members that are not yet Forum members but continue to receive their notices via the [email protected] emails. It appears, for the moment, that Junior Member status on the ChameleonForums does not yet have enough "Permission Level" to join a Social Group.

Yeah! First time the meeting ever so close to my place. :)
Dave, Can I order one 3" Plant stand and one 4" Plant stand? So, instead of 4 as in my last mail, I want to try 2 first. To see if it is sturdy enough if the stand is that high.
Also, I have question about the guy who do the acrylic assembly thing (You are not the one who build those, aren't you?..).
I want to see if he can build certain structure for me for my project -work related. Nothing about chameleon at all-
But, I shall inquire about it at the meeting.

Howdy Frans,

I'll toss you a reply to your original email so as to keep things together in one email :).

Looking forward to this meeting. :) A lot closer and on a Saturday. And then on to San Diego the following weekend. All and all a very busy month for me.

Oh maaaaaaaaaaaan, if the super show were not the next weekend we might have come. hmmm maybe I can talk Darci into it anyhoo :D

I asked that too, but Dave told me I'd have to wear all pink. Not sure why, but I've yet to attend one of these.

Ewww, that would be a deal breaker for me. :p I just another post of DW saying you had to attend meeting to be a member. I was hoping there was a newsletter or someone who took meeting minutes and you could subscribe to that with a membership.

I guess us Puget Sounders will have to start our own club.

Howdy,

Tyler: I said that just pink underwear is required ;).

AJA: I occasionally get requests from keepers who will not ever be attending meetings. I usually explain that there isn't anything that they'll miss by not being a member if they don't plan on attending meetings. The ChameleonForums Group Membership section is limited to those who attend or are planning on attending a near-future meeting. That way it is easy for fellow members to locate contact each other etc. via the list.

can't wait! soooo close to home I could ride my bike...... but I don't wanna do that with a ton of bugs strapped to my back :D

Hahahaha, that will be funny to see. If you decided to do it, let me know so I can bring a camera.
