Dark stripes on veiled cham

I have a male veiled chameleon (5 months old) and when I hold him he usually climbs to my shoulder and then gets really dark stripes on him. Does anyone know why he gets dark stripes???

I have not gotten him any supplements yet, but I heard that if I feed the crickets red potato then that should be good. Is that true???

No it's not true.
You must use supplements to give proper development.


Calcium without d3 every feeding.
Calcium with d3 twice a month.
Multivitamin twice a month.

Why? I told u your little guy is gonna die in ur care without these supplements ?? Don't u understand? I don't get it I told u that about a week ago that he needs supplements and uve just ignored it? Are u not botherd or Somthing coz your Cham needs someone who is botherd to care for him! You should of done alot more research before you got him ! And red potato isn't enough No not atall ! Sorry If u think I'm out of order but you made a first thread saying ur Cham doesn't eat out your hands no more, we established that you haven't been giving him any supplements I told you what would happen if they weren't given to him! You ignored it and made this post!! YOU CHAMELEON NEEDS SUPPLEMENTS THIS IS WHAT IS WRONG WITH HIM! Like I said I'm sorry but you just seem to be oblivious to what's happening even though I told you what is wrong?
