Hey ChamForums, I have a quick question. My Ramona has been doing very well lately, except for a white crusty deposit that arrived a few days ago. I've been cleaning it away with a sterile cotton swab when I see it in case it is an infection. It is not blocking either nostril (I went to a vet and he flushed both nostrils, and they looked fine), merely depositing AROUND each nostril, like a snotty nose. He recommended a preventative antibiotic treatment, which Ramona is now on her second day of. Is this just normal chameleon snot or could it be an infection? I am not sure and neither was the vet I saw, though by is own admission he is not familiar with chameleon care. (He was on-call, but not Ramona's primary vet.) Thoughts?
