Crocodile fern safe?

Picked up a couple of these beautiful plants and I have never actually seen them until today but I cannot seem to locate them in any list. I know they are not that common but I could not find any info saying they are poisonous or have any type of toxicity so I am guessing they are ok but wanted to check and see if anyone here knew
Here is the scientific and generic name

Microsorum musifolium 'Crocodyllus' - Crocodile fern

They are huge and very hardy, now to figure out how to hang one in with my ficus without totally covering the ficus up, although ficus like indirect light so it may be ok

is this the plant you are referring to? if so it seems to me to be the perfect plant to keep in a chameleon enclosure. needs shade, drainage, soil that needs to dry out between watering (like a chameleon cage) good for holding water too. seems perfect. the only thing id watch out for would be the spores with could maybe(idk they are really small) annoy your chameleon if they get in his nose/eyes. other than that they seem good to me.

Yes that is the one. The leaves or fronds are very heavy duty and the plant just looks cool. I figured since the birds nest fern is ok this one would be too. They look very closely related. Maybe I am not all that familiar with the spores on a fern but how would they get in the eyes and nose? I don't think they put off anything other than dropping when they are ready and may e that is what you mean. I have not actually seen any spores on the bottom of this one but I am sure like most ferns they are there.

well they arnt closely related but the structure and reproduction is the same. and yes i did mean when they drop them. idk if they would affect the chameleon but you know just a word of concern...my grandpa has a greenhouse full of ferns...lessons all day...
