Texas has decided to get very cold lately. It snowed about 8 inches yesterday and the power went out this morning. Which means that Spikes cage dosent have any light or heat. What should i do??

Now if this goes on for a few days you will have issues, but a day or 2 in the upper 40's is fine.

okay good. I was just worried about him not getting his UVB. It’s -3 outside right now but the house shouldn’t get that cold. I didn’t think about that...

It's not just Texas. Last report I saw said 38 states have been hit along with most/all of Canada.
A few days without power/UVB won't hurt as long as temps are as mentioned.

Your definitely not going to be able to get one right now but this is where a backup generator is key.

I’m actually only 14 but i’ll mention it to my parents. This is the first time in years it’s snowed in here so i don’t think anyone was prepared. But, i’ll mention it to my parents!
