what does it mean when my cham closes one eye often?

Also i am afraid she is not getting enough water. how do i increase her water intake besides spraying more often?

Could be a number of things maybe not even anything to do with the eye. I always give the affected eye a good spray with warm water They won't like it but you just have to do it.

What uv and supplements are you using?

Welcome to the forums. I'm sorry to hear that your girl is having an eye problem. The first thing I would recommend it to up her misting and give her some nice warm really long mistings and see it that helps.

I have a couple of blogs for you below. The first is general care for a veiled chameleon and the second is about egg laying and the laying bin. Females do lay eggs without a male even being around.

Dez's video on setting up a laying bin. I recommend keeping one in her cage at all time after she reaches 5 months old.

I thought you had a veiled and by no means do I think or know that she is going to have babies. The long misting though will still be good for a Jackson that's closing her eye. Here's a good care sheet for your Jackson:

Filling out this form would be an excellent idea.
