Hi all, was wondering if anyone had any idea what this might be? I have a 5-6 month old veiled male, he seems to be in very good health, eating and drinking well, and he is always mooching round his cage, when not basking.
He sometimes has a clear fluid come from his vent, mostly after a poo.
I would take a picture but he hates the camera, and has a dicky fit if he sees one lol. so no pics i'm affraid.
Thanks in advance

If it's like clear egg white, it's just excess liquid.
Smeagie does that when he eats silkies or horns.

PS I have only seen this in veildes.

Add some more variety to your gutload and you are good to go. Nothing to worry about!!

Thanks carol. That veg i mentioned is what Randall eats lol!
The gut load for his crickets and hoppers is quite q wide variety, including greens, potato peel, squash, cale, cauli, broccoli, strawberry, grapes etc.
xxxxx

I would not worry, it's more a big cleanup mess then anything.

A nice veriety of feeders and a good gutload program will help him to go
more solid.
Do you see him drinking a lot?

That would be his well hydrated urates :) My girls urates have always been like a white/clear liquid since I got her and that was a year ago and she's fine. Does your boy eat a lot of veggies? That can cause a more runny urate or poo too.
