Cleaning schedule

I'm wondering how often a cham cage should be fully cleaned (and the best way to do it?), rather than just spot stuff and removing the paper towels/whatnot from the base of the cage. Thanks!

I have the same problem as you.

The thing is, if you can see poop at the bottom, clean it.

Mold. Not good.

Also if you are using paper towels to catch water or something, definitely change it out every day.

I spot clean cages every day or every other day. I also thoroughly clean all cages about twice a month. This has worked well for me over the years. While it is easy to procrastinate our cleaning duties, it is imperative to the health of our prehensile-tailed friends.
Regards,
Chris

I spot clean cages most days and take the bottom out and disinfect once a week. I take plants out and wash about every three months.

Ok, this makes me feel more confident. I spot clean before bed and was thinking about an every 2 week more thorough cleaning. :)
