the pet store told me you could file them then i came here and they said not to because they dont grow them back or something like that so i would say no

Do not cut them. They will not grow back. If your chams claws hurt you when handling the cham.... your not wearing the right cloting LOL. I have some nice claw marks from my chams.... They need claws to climb so I leave them alone. Itd be like poking out your eyes because someone doesn't want you peeking at them. Problem solved for them.... but now you can't see.
