Chameleon vs Ant Crusher Game

I would not do that. Your chamelons tongue may get stuck on the screen and he could get injured. Not a good idea....
 
As chameleons don't 'launch' themselves onto their food like beardies and frogs, I would be really worried about my chameleon damaging it's tongue whilst 'playing' that game.:(
 
No more dangerous than hitting the bottom of the feeder cup, I think.

Very cute none the less! You have to wonder what the poor things are thinking!

Olimpia I agree but they are trying to get real food in that scenerio and I mean if it happens, it happens(as we know accidents do), but deliberately putting him in harms way is foolish I think. That cham that lost his tongue the other day shot his tongue and hit the cage floor and that is how it ended up being amputated. Just my opinion here and maybe I am overreacting, but I go by the motto better safe then sorry.

probally why they cant taste anything but people on the screen :D i bet it taste bad cuz we touch them all the time. ew :eek: i think its cute. no need to get upset over playing a little. he's not hurting the cham as far as i can see and as a member the cham is probally given wonderful care. let up a little everyone.

I was just bringing up the point that the chameleon could injure its tongue. Never said that the chameleon was not given proper care. Just pointing out the possibility of what could happen. That's all.....

no problem, I just wanted the member to maybe think twice about doing that. I would hate to see the cham get injured for something so stupid. Don't worry, I won't call PETA or anything! lol!
 
I can see peoples concerns here but I assure it was no worse then missing and hitting the glass or a feed dish.

Once he realized he was not actually getting any food he gave up on the game completly.

It was a one time thing and I will leave phones and chams separate from now on.
