Hi Mario. Thank you so much for sharing your photographs. They are truly spectacular. That F. rhinoceratus is unbelievable! And, it's amazing how much iron is in the soil in that picture from Ankarafantsika. Just, beautiful! Please, share as many more photos as you'd like. Ambanja is my favorite area for panther chameleons. :D

With the political problems there now, did you all feel safe while you were there? Did you experience any problems?

Hi Kent,
we dont feel any Problems about the Political crisis...
we have a very good feeling the complete Time.
Also about the Chameleons ;-) we saw a lot of nice animals...
i will share also these pics... little pasions

That's very good to hear that you had no problems. I think the very last thing the country needs right now is for its ecotourism to die. Hopefully they can continue to make travelers feel safe and welcome until a stable, legitimate government is established. :)

Hi Kent,
i think Madagascar need Tourist very quick... the Tourism loose around 120 Million Dollars in the first 4 Month of this Year...

Lets have a look on Chameleons again ;-)
we drive from Ankarafantsika over mampikony to Port Berge and then over
Ankaramybe to Ambanja...
