Chameleon safe paint?

So I was thinking Zilla would look cool with face paint...JK
LOL actually I was just curious if latex paint could be used when I paint my new cage? Anyone who have experience with paint? It will be getting wet so.. Idk if that factors in.

I use zero VOC acrylic latex on all of my (home-made) cages. My oldest cage is 10+ years old (repainted once or twice during that time)
