Chameleon not looking good

I know when my chameleon is upset he turns a little brown but when I got home today my veiled chameleon looked grey? is he okay?!

Seperate cages, right? They can dull while preparing to shed, sucking up heat, or just a little upset. Give us a little more info and some pics, we will try to help.
