Veiled chameleon

I recently got this male veiled chameleon from a pet shop. He has asymmetry in his eyes, one is smaller and near that eye he had a burn that I healed with betadine. I'm administering vitamins and from the feces it seems that the chameleon is well hydrated. UVB 6% 24W I only nebulize at night and before the lights are turned on

I add that from the photos the eye seems closed in reality it is open and alert, he eats without problems and is very voracious

Hi and welcome! He’s a cutie! I love pied. 🥰 Regarding the eye, I would check in with a vet who has experience with chameleons. While it may be just something he was born with, it could also be a problem. Does he seem to be able to see well or at all out of that eye? If you move your hand towards his face on that side, does he react?

Thanks for the reply. Yes, the chameleon can see. If I put my hand near his eye, he gets nervous and swells up. He has no problem catching prey; he rarely misses. Anyway, yes, I'll see the vet. I feed him mainly grasshoppers and expose him to the sun twice a week.
