Chameleon care while away

I occasionally (once or twice a month) have to leave for the weekend (usually around 2 nights), would my veiled chameleon be alright during this time?

I am aware that it can go for that time period without food, but does anyone have any recommendations on how to give it water (I don't have a misting system). I don't want to leave my dripper and risk flooding the cage.

I'd appreciate any help! Thank you!

you would need a dipper your gona have to have someone mist him and fill he dripper to get him water they can go a day or 2 without food but water no way

Ask a friend who is willing to spot clean, release a couple crix and have your friend mist your chameleon's plants...lol I'd say 7-8 times. You could put a screened cup under the dripper that would collect it. But it needs to be removed after the dripping session is over. If you have one chameleon I suggest getting your chameleon a misting system, especially since you have these 2 night trips... BTW- boy or girl?
