Can my veiled chameleon eat salad greens

You should not feed them anything but insects. They are insectivores and do not digest fruits and greens. Veileds will eat their plants but it is believed it has more to do with adding roughage. Really this has not been explored enough but as of now it is not recommended.

Hi. :) While many veiled chameleons will eat greens and other plant based foods, they have zero need for them. It would be better to provide your chameleon with safe live plants in his/her enclosure, such as pothos, philodendron, hibiscus, etc and if they want, they’ll nibble away at the leaves. All you need to feed cham is live healthy buggies.
