I could not find any solution that was just saline.

The ingredients are as follows:
"A sterile buffered, isotonic aqueous solution that contains purified water (99.05%), boric acid, sodium borate and sodium chloride; preserved with edetate disodium (0.025%) and sorbic acid (0.1%)."

Uses:
"For cleansing the eye to help relieve irritation, burning, stinging, discomfort, and itching by removing loose foreign material, air pollutants (smog or pollen) or chlorinated water."

I dont really know what any of that means but i dont like thre sound of the ingredients ending with the word "acid". so if anyone can shed some light on this topic for me i would greatly appreciate it.

My Panther has been sucking his eye back for a week or two now and i have heard saline solution was recommended. is there any way i can make my own solution?

That should be fine. They all have something, but this is a great majority of just water. The ingredients on mine are about the same thing, and this was Ok'ed by my vet.

Remember to hold your chameleon at a downward angle so that the saline doesn't get aspirated by accident! And don't be afraid to squirt it into the eye, he needs saline to really get in there so he can flush it out himself.
