California fires bothering your cham?

Piko seems a but agitated today, hanging on the door mesh, wanting out. It is very hot and dry, (again!) and I can smell smoke, even though the fire is a long way away. Do you think she can sense this?
I am handmisting more, and will increase the MistKing settings more this week, as it's so bloody dry. I hate it too, and wish I caould increase misting for me too! My eyes are so itchy and irritated.
I will let Piko out for a run in her tree later on, if that's what's bothering her. The cats are being weird too, galloping about in all the leaves that have been blown down.
Just curious to see if any other local folk have seen a change in their cham's behaviour this week.
Hope it ends soon. We need rain, badly!

I'm in NorCal (Sacramento area) and we don't have any fires but it is warm and extremely dry. I am going to get a cool mist humidifier since my house it only 19% humidity. We need rain bad.

my humidity has been dropping down to 30. I feel you on this one. Investing in repti fogger. ASAP

I think it does bother chameleons especially with their huge lungs. When it is fire season here in central California I normally bring in the chameleons until the fires are done with before I allow them prolonged outside time again.
