Anyone know anything about bumble bees? heh...![]()
they eat flower nectar
and theyre numbers are in decline, so please dont rob them from nature as an unnecessary food for chameleons
bumble bees dont loose their stinger after stinging, and its not always obvious to see.
yes, they use their tongue to dip into flowers - they need hundreds.
best to put it back outside during the day
If it is still alive by the time I get home from school I'll let it go. I just wanted to get it out of the rain so it wouldn't die.
Sadly the bee died. But I did what I could and at least it didn't drown in the rain...That was very nice of you
the bumble bees are fresh out of hybernation around where I live, busily buzzing around my flower garden
Sadly the bee died. But I did what I could and at least it didn't drown in the rain...![]()
They eat the nectar from flowers. You should avoid killing honey bees from the genus Apis because their population is in serious decline. In fact, Monsanto just bought out the largest research firm of Honey Bees. Funny, that Monsanto is the biggest manufacturer of herbicides and pesticides in the world and are said to be a huge contributor to the Honey Bee decline. If you like keeping bees, you should invest in a hive and mail order a colony.
Place the hive in a place that is safe from pesticides, herbicides, and people. Avoid disturbing them and do not have children playing around them.

It is quite a rewarding hobby. It helps the bee population and provides you with a lot of honey.
