broken toe nail on male yemen cham

hi everyone im new on here from rfuk forum i habe noticed one problemtoday! my cham has a broken/bent middle toe/nail on his back left foot. can you advise on whats best to do? do i just leave it and it will drop off? the toe nail behind it looks fresh and new so maybe its common from climbing a lot? heres a couple pics. just dnt want it getting infected or wonder if its commkn? i have reptiwound aid if this would help but as said before my cham hates being handled so i never do .and a guy on rfuk said to cut off the tip to the sharp point isnt cathing so i did this an hour ago . hes moving and climbing fine and also no swelling or fresh blood so maybe its a couple days old heres a pic

tgus was before i cut the tip off. he seems more able to use his front claw nw the broken one is trimmed.

Hi! He Looks a bit big to be climbing the mesh, I suspect he got his claw stuck in there and that's how it broke. Does he have plenty vines and branches to climb?

Do you have a full photo of him?

It doesn't look swolen or anything so just keep an eye on it in case it gets infected. I personally wouldn't put anything on it until you're sure he needs it

thanks for thw rwply yeah he has 2 or 3 large vines and also 2 sides coverer in climbing trellis
i think ill add a 3rd side of trellis and more vines ive had him 7 mnths nw and hes been fine climbing around the mesh. il post some pics up of the set up tomoz it nay look a bit bare to some people but its more thn he had in a 2fd glss exo terra with nowhere to climb. all advice welcomed and taken on board

this was a couple months ago he had a burn from too hot bulb so i treated with retiwound aid only time i handled him as he doesnt like it as you may tell by his colout

Wow he's beautiful! How's his toe doing now? Any swelling or puss coming from it? He's definately too big to be climbing the mesh. If you've added what you said you were going to the hopefully it shouldn't happen again

hi thanks. what are signs of infection. its slightly larger from the bacl then the other side but isnt red or anything coming out of it all seems slighter more dead now the nail does so shud i give it more time?
