branch treatment

hi everyone, just wondering if i put branches out ov garden into my viv when i get it do i have to treat the branches with anythin incase ov anythin that could b passed on to the cham.

I just give them a blast with a waterhose. If you want to make SURE there are no mites or critters in them, you can soak them in soapy water, then bake them in an oven.

can just imagine the wifes face if i put branches in the oven , haha 2mins later smack to the back ov my head & id b followin the branches in the oven, do it when the ocd woman is out.

lol i stip branches if i use them in any of my tanks just put them in really hot water and them leave them for a whil to soak then the bark should come off eaisily.

id just squirt em with some isopropyl.

ACTUALLY i wouldnt do that. id just use some driftwood grapevine or corkbark out of the garden. but normal people dont have that sort of stuff laying around.

yeah just put some rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle soak em down and dry em out. only real issue i see is mushrooms or mites.
