Jackson horns and stick size

Hey Chamily,

Mr. Jack has come a long way since I first got him in May! I was first worried that his horns were growing so wonky, that they might grow into each other. Thankfully with the helpful the knowledge from you folks, and much better husbandry than where he came from. He's much healthier and his horns have corrected themselves.

New issue, his horns are getting stuck between branches. Not fully stuck to the point where I have to rescue, he always gets out of it quickly by himself. It's just an observation, and usually happens when he's rushing to get a treat. I used mostly arbutus branches of various thickness, and some softer decorative wood to fill in.

I know I should space his cage out more as he grows, but should I also just use thicker branches to avoid any injuries? Or, is this just like the awkward teenager growing phase where they have to figure it out?

Oh Mr. Jack; why do our chams fill our hearts with such love and worry? 🥰🥹🫠
