I have a 7 month old male ambilobe.
He came to me from the breeder's with a tongue injury. His tongue only extends about 1.5", and the tip of it is black and split like a snake's tongue. Nonetheless is a great eater and has no problems catching his prey with accommodations.
Anyways, recently when he drinks (laps droplets off of leaves), he ends us blowing bubbles out of either (or both) of his nostrils. My biggest concern is obviously that of him aspirating on the water, and URI.
Any ideas? I can't really prevent him from drinking...
