Big glass doors for 8ftL house? Suggestions?

Hi all, it's getting closer and closer to beginning to build the new parsons houses, approx size of each 8ft L x 6ft H, so I'd like glass doors, ( I have a dream to make it look like a zoo enclosure )
am not that keen on mesh, so was wondering what people use? Anyone have any ideas? I was looking at shower doors,( about £80 each- need 4-6! ) large, well hinged, sturdy but would need about three per enclosure and that can add up a lot, I have to admit price is important. Glass doors don't need to spread the entire length, so maybe needing two each enclosure. could be centred so saving costs a bit,
The alternative was shower panels, they ones that go over a bath , the enclosures are floor to ceiling but the glass can start at 2ft high from the ground so a panel would be o.k as they are usually about 4 ft high,(£40-50 each so better) the other option is Perspex? Easy to drill and hinge, light, safe, but will it dull over time and be scratched when cleaning mist spray, Here prices for a piece of scratch resistant Perspex is as much as a shower door nearly,
If anyone has got any nifty ideas it would be very helpful as planning has begun, also if anyone can suggest a good gauge of mesh I will need some here and there, the old question - big enough for a foot to grip or small enough for claws to grasp?

The thing is the enclosures are going into a shed so three of the walls are accounted for, being clad with polycarbonate or similar so I can have a waterproof sides and back for misting, any water that goes there can just run down and into the base and out, so three sides of the aviary would be wasted, even if I bought one to use as panels, I still kinda wanted glass I think which will help me with humidity but thank you for your suggestion, I know how nice your ones look.

What about a double glazing company? They may have some ideas.

Hey Tiff I think the closest and the best option will be shower doors- can't think of any other things similar, ie house doors, wardrobe doors etc, you can even get a four panelled folding unit that concertinas back, will research other options but still gathering info

To separate my cages and for the backs I use foam panels cut to size. I prime the 4x8 foot foam sheet then paint a green base coat then add my accent colored leave detail with spray cans.

I thought You could use these panels as your walls, to cut them use a rock knife or box cutter. Light weight and very inexpensive. You can use a backer and screw hinges to them or use a 90 bracket then clear silicone the corners to seal. They are totally water proof

It goes up to 2 inches thick.

Oh she has the three sides in the shed are existing, she is looking for a glass front. I get it now.

Thanks very much anyway- nice artwork, interesting product too, yes just glass fronts now- i'd love to clad the back with a painted foliage or printed jungle thing going on, would like to make it look natural so may look into making something similar to yours.
