Is there one type of Panther that is easier to own then the other? I have been looking at them and decided I would rather buy own of them then the rudis I was originally going to go with. What's been everyones best experience or best preference from owning them? I have experience in Chams I have just never ventured in to the Panthers!

All are the same care. Just preferance as to what you want to look at when they get older.

The best type of panther is the one that most appeals to you. Depending on your experience and what you want, you may find a male slightly easier than a female (whose diet needs to be watched more carefully to minimize the laying of infertile clutches and/or to supply sufficient calcium for such clutches), but the different color varieties are equivalent in care. I've had my panther for over four years now, and have been very happy with him.

Really every chameleon has different personalities, I don't think locales have anything to do with it.
Bottom line its color preference :)

EDIT: Man I can't pick!! Tamatave is on my wish list!!!

That being said, my favorite are the more orange, red, and yellow locales. Sambavas, tamatave, more yellow nosy mitsios, and red/orange/yellow body ambilobes. :D

well....my favorite is nosy bee and nosy misto...sambavas are right up there though. vields are also just as fabulas in color as panthers....they only just have one general varity....not such a dramatic local color diff! vields have stripes...and stripes are beast...but bee and misto ftw!....but then i forgot about these...pink panthers....MY LORD THERE ALL BEAUTIFUL PANTHERS ARE GEORGEOUS I CANT CHOOSE ( ive gon cross eyed) Hetland%20Ankaramy%20Breeder.jpg
