Best method for showing videos?

I have used youtube for some cham videos, but the viewing quality stinks. What is the best method for uploading videos that will show good detail? These are coming off a finepix digital camera with 18x optical zoom, in AVI format. I am loading them onto my computer and converting them to Mpg, then uploading them to youtube. When viewed on my computer they're nice and clear, but on youtube they're fuzzy/blurry. Is there someone other than youtube I should be using? Thanks, anyone, in advance, for your help.

Well Youtube is now working on higher quality video. If you go to your advanced settings there should be an option to show Higher quality video when available.
Also when uploading video to youtube it converts it from whatever your uploading to, to another format (flv). If your video size is not correct, it then converts it another time and so on.
So when uploading try using the perfect settings and you can get some good quality videos.
