Best baby photo I have taken so far

Peaked in my egg cabinet today to find a gorgeous Ankaramy baby hatching today. What a great way to end such a hectic week. I thought this was an awesome photo (almost as good as my last photo thread ), so I had to share. That is a dime for comparison. This baby hatched after a 14 month incubation time. Some other eggs are sweating, so hopefully more to follow.

Thanks for the all comments. Eric I know isnt that the truth. The newborn look cracks me up. Bosco, I know right? Talk about forever. These guys have been kept in the same cabinet with my other eggs. Temperatures see lower 70's in the evening, and 74-76 during the daytime.

Cinco de mayo male

I had to bump this instead of making a new thread. One month in and only 5 babys are out of this clutch (out of 13). They're taking their sweet ass time, 15 months it took this guy to hatch. Candled the other eggs, and so far so good except one is empty. The other 4 that are out are doin awesome so far, pounding down 1/8 crickets no problem, complete with fat belly's. Wish I had alittle more time to enjoy them (ie sit and watch them for hours) during finals this week, but duty calls.

hatchlings are seriously eating 1/8 inchers?! no way! are you kidding me?

Yeah I usually feed them hydei and 1/8 crickets for the first few weeks, then wean them off of ff's after about 3 weeks. The others are eating crickets only, except this guy isn't eating yet. I appreciate the compliments though, they are something else!
