Well I have no experience in feeding bees because frankly I find it to be nuts. But looks like a sting to me or a bite. If your feeding bees, Large hornworms, large superworms then this is a risk you take on. :(

Mouth rot we typically see in the actual mouth not the tongue. It would be discolored and even swollen along the gums.

Oh okay. I will take him to the vet anyway in two days because its not getting better. Thank you!

Also I am highly allergic to bees. Which is why I find feeding them to be nuts... Not that yall are :hilarious: Did not want that to be taken incorrectly. :)

What color should his tongue be? Because its different today than the pics above. And there is still that purple part. I will take him to the vet tommorow but just want to see your opinion.

I wish I could give you an answer. I think it looks a bit better in post #8 than the previous one...but it still wouldn't hurt to have a vet check it IMHO.

Just a thought but if it was a sting, would there not be swelling ? I don't believe they are immune, but really don't know.
It is still something going on.

Ok so I went and she saw the swelling and purple-red part. She just gave him a medicine against pain, irritation and swelling and gave me three more syringes for next three days and thats it..
