My two baby Jackson's are 2 months old. When are they going to start turning green and other corlors rather than black and brown. They both just had their first shed.

Help please!

They will usually start to show some green at about 3-4 months. Here are some photos below of one of mine at various ages.

Mine is 16 weeks and usually only shows his greens when he is out of his viv. Just lately he has started to show splashes of green when he is wandering around in his viv. He is just starting his second shed so I hope he will be even more green afterwards! He does also still get his black and white 'humbug' pattern sometimes! They are quite fascinating! I have never had a male baby chameleon before so it'll be interesting to see how he develops both his horns and his colour! Next on my list is a baby Panther male!:D

Mine are 16 weeks also and are also turning green when i am holding him and a little green when he is in his cage.

:D

I bought some jewellers scales form ebay especially for him since he was so tiny! They weigh in increments of 0.1g. They will also be used to weigh hatchling crested geckos next year if I decide to breed my pair. Here's a photo - I put the twig on and 'zero'/tare the scales before letting him climb on!

5.39GBP including delivery iirc. They have been invaluable since Monty was initially only gaining 0.1 or 0.2g a week. Last week he gained 0.8g! :D

I found a little scale I have and I weighed Baby (sister to Ninja) and Ninja (sister to Baby). Baby is 9 grams and Ninja is 12 grams (both are girls). Baby is WAY smaller than Ninja in length and belly. The funny thing is Baby eats WAY more than Ninja. :D

Obviously all chams are different - your two may have been bigger from birth or just be big eaters. It's only been the last 3 weeks or so that Monty has started to eat more than just fruit flies. Yours look a lot bigger and older than Monty to me though. jdog is probably best to ask about weights as I only have one to compare to, whereas he has raised a whole clutch.

Thank you SO much! :)
