Temps were increased today to 76-78F ambient, with a 88-90F basking area.
Heres a video of the smaller female having a mantis, which somewhat shows their coloration that changed from dark, with the temp change:
(theres a lot of scrathy noises, and thats it, so you may wish to mute)

I was bit by what was likely some lactrodectus(black widow) and have not been feeling all that great.
So sorry for the absence. ;P
I have kept temps at the above posted measurements.
They all seem to be doing well.
The larger female shed yesterday, and just has a "helmet" left to get rid of.
They females are showing lots of color.
The male has stayed dark for the most part. ;/
He only shows color, when hes extremely excited for a feeder, for the most part.
They are eating 1/8-1/4" crickets and katydids, mantids, FFs, and the bean weevils. They are ALWAYS ravenous!
The mantids are there favorite(big surprise) and if they all see the same one, its an all out drag race across each others face to get it.
They all seem to be growing, I think I can actually see them growing as I watch them!
I have not taken any length/weight measurements as of yet though.
I mist them about an hour after lights on, and about 3-4 hours before lights off. The second misting is only very light though.
The ambient RH in the room they are being kept stays at roughly 50-60%.
I have not had them outside yet, Ive mostly been "resting", and its rainy today.

Most of my parameters are right about where yours are, except when the fans kick on temps will drop a few degrees for a bit. They are almost comical when the fans kick on, its almost like whos the best "leaf" lol.

These things are showing more and more color, and getting bigger and bigger.
They definitely show more/better colors/patterns outside.
Here is a shot of the females being moved outside.

They are black and white right now, still soaking in sun.
I have picks of that, and will get them in color once they get with the program.
Keep your pants on!!!
(anytime I go to feed them, check temps, move them, they go the colors you see above ;/ )

Are you guys still sticking to a 30 sec misting every so often? I'm finding that mine like to soak as much as everyone else. I have been using a dripper to water my plants in the process and I found both chameleons nestled around the sphagnum moss of the orchid under the dripper, just soaking. I've misted them this morning and then again now at noon, so they've had time to drink. But now they prefer to sit and soak.
I think I'm going to up their misting times to include at least one longer misting session during the day. The humidity stays under 40% unless I'm misting, so I think I have enough wiggle room to mist more and still have the RH fall and be at a very moderate level.
Anyone else observing something similar?

I mist them very lightly about an hour after lights on. Its about a 30sec session tops. Just enough to wet the cage. (I mist by hand)
I mist again about 3-4 hrs before lights off, the same amount.
Ive seen them all hunt down water droplets, and nom them up.
These droplets stay on the cool side of the cage, almost all day, so they have them there if they need them.
Ive only had them outside a few times, and its been quite warm (83-87F) outside when I did. When outside, I mist them heavily for a few minutes, 2-3 times a day. I give them heavier misting outside, because its hotter, and drier out there, and I dont have to worry about saturating a cage, and overflow and whatnot.
Im sure they can take, and even enjoy a heavy misting now and again, but Im trying to keep them as comfortably dry as possible, at least while they are at this age.
It might be worth noting, that we have different sub-species though. So one may like more water than another.
I think with proper heat, and ventilation, they can/could take it though, Im just still uber-paranoid

I'm not an idiot, I'm commenting on what I'm seeing. If I'm not misting the hydrometer reads 28% or under, and when I mist about 40%, 2-3 times a day for very little. I don't think that's excessive as it stands. However, since I find both of them huddled in the orchid moss when I water the plant something tells me they are missing something. I will need to tinker about with my parameters but my best judgement tells me we have some wiggle room to make them happier and keep them healthy.

i dont have these but if i did..this is what i would be doing. Id also pm chris anderson and ask if he ever measured direct sunlight temps in the regions these are found. ambient 80* degrees isnt 80* receiving all the sun wants to give .

From the looks of it they do get a good bit of rainfall and the temps can vary a good bit also.

That's what I've been researching as well.
Also, I saw my male flash white and yellow today, head-bobbing the female. They caught sight of each other today when I was moving the cages outside for some sun time and he was in his best colors, but she could have cared less lol Of course he saw the camera and immediately fired down, but I did catch him on the fade down, so he still had a fair amount of black on him. Really cool sight!
