a sign of what's to come for a panther that is still coloring up? my guy likes to be basically brown all day, but has been getting a nice solid green background and defined blue bars at night... just wondering chameleon people!

Brown all day probably means he is cold and trying to heat up, since dark colors absorb heat better than light.

If its a male chameleon and 7-8 months old adult coloration should be coming on and depending on the locale you can see a lot of different things...
