I was told that for a juvienile that a Aquarium would be ok..The full setup has bamboo, repti bark and moss substrate several fake ferns, logs and rocks on the flooring, several vines for climbing. A half screen top with a basking lamp, and a half cover top with a reptisun 5.0 UVB 18 inch bulb and and reptifogger system. All This is in a 55 gallon aquarium with a juvinile Senagal Chameleon who seems to be thriving ..is this OKAY for the time being? We are planning to build a large screened habitat in the very near future.

I only use them for hatchlings for the first month of life then I move them into a screened cage. You have to be careful that it doesn't eat the substrate and I wouldn't use the fogger also you have to keep an eye on the temperature with an aquarium. For the time being you should be alright with the corrections I suggested.
