Approaching laying date

Hi guys wednesday marks 3 weeks for my female veiled chameleon, I’ve read that it takes 3-4 weeks after mating for a veiled chameleon to lay eggs. Any ideas on what I should have in her cage besides the laying bin?

It can even take a bit longer than 4 weeks for them to lay. For the laying process there is nothing that needs to change inside the cage other than to make sure there's a lay bin, of course and that she can get to it. You should cover the lower part of the cage though once she's near the due date and don't let her see you watching her when she's digging. If she's back up in the branches it's ok. You can feed and water her if she's in the branches but do not leave any leftover insects in her cage because they could either chew on her while she's laying or the eggs once they are laid.
