Anyone here use a hot air brush around their reptile room?

I keep a few chameleons in a converted spare room here in Boise, and the room doubles as where I get ready in the morning. I've been looking at hot air brush multi-stylers since they seem to dry and shape in one step, but I'm unsure whether the hot air and any stray fibers would bother the chameleons, even on the other side of the room. I don't want to run one near the enclosures and risk a draft or particles drifting toward them, and I'm also not sure how much heat these put out over time in a small closed room. Online info suggests models vary a lot in airflow and temperature, which makes comparing them harder. For anyone who keeps chameleons and uses one of these tools at home, did you keep it well away from the cages, and did you notice any change in the animals' behavior? I'd appreciate hearing what worked for you before I decide.

I'm in Denver with a single veiled chameleon in a bedroom that also gets used for morning routines, so this is relevant to me. My main concern wouldn't be the styling itself but the fine mist and any shedding bristles drifting, plus the room warming up over ten or fifteen minutes in a small closed space. I'd probably run it in the bathroom instead and keep the reptile room door shut. I came across About Us while trying to compare airflow and temperature specs, though it's general rather than reptile-specific. Has anyone actually measured a temperature rise in a small room after using one?

The drift concern is what would push me to a separate room too. I'm in Denver with a veiled chameleon in a bedroom, and between the mist and bristles I wouldn't want one running within a few feet of the cage. My bigger uncertainty is the closed-room heat: a small bedroom can warm noticeably over ten or fifteen minutes, so a bathroom setup with the reptile door shut seems safer. I can't point to measured numbers, though. I also came across Best Stick Vacuums of 2026 while trying to compare specs, but it isn't reptile-specific. Has anyone here actually logged a temperature rise after a typical session?
