Ambanja behavior

hey everyone i have a question, and its about my pair that i have that are ambanjas. Socrates and Walela are doing good and i was wondering why they dont seem interested in each other at all. Socrates will just sit there and stare, wont flare up, and just seems uninterested in lela. Lela will flare up a lil bit and then like tonite she later seemed just uninterested in soc. i figured they would at least try to put on a show but nothing happens being within inches of each other.

i had a breeding pair of veileds and they would want to fight on first sight of each other, and the male always seemed interested.

so is this just normal, does socrates just know its a "no go"? just doesnt make sense to me, any opinions?

how would you let them meet?....i believe it helps if you take the male into the females enclosure or find a nuetral place and set them a good amount of distance beteen them and let them find eachother...plus, is the girl receptive?

the girl is pretty receptive she will gape her mouth open at him and then kind of face away from him and then look uninterested. he will just stare at her

Were they ever housed together for any period of time? i seen a panther male&female at a pet store housed together when they were young and didnt seem to mind eachother much when they grew up. i guess they kind of knew eachother and made some sort of sibling pact which is odd for a chameleon but was evident between these two.

Is this the same female with the eye problem? I wouldn't try and breed her or cause her any undue stress by showing her a male until she feels better.
