Wow where to begin! I did my taxes on Jan 27th and I still haven't got my state or federal yet! I know the state is going to be awhile because of the whole IOU thing. But today I checked the irs website and noticed my account said it was deposited in my account on Feb 20th but there has been nothing put into my account so I call up the IRS and find out they inputted one digit off on my routing number

So they told me I would have to wait up to 15 to 30 business days to see if the money was returned to them. Which I don't see how it will be returned cause the routing number isn't even a bank!! So the solution is wait 30 days and call back if it's refunded they will issue a check which will take 4-6 weeks to get if the money isn't refunded within the 30 days they will have to do a investigation which will take 3 to 7 MONTHS!!!:mad::mad:

Wow that is horrible. It is always hurry up and pay us when you owe them but dragginf feet to do it in reverse. Nice! Sorry fo rit but there aren't any words that'll make it go any faster.

Wow! thats completely unexceptable! I'd probbably go postal. . .jk but seriously that is crap.

Believe it or not that a very common mistake. I have been a tax preparer for H&R Block for 24 years and have seen about everything. Jann

Jann, What about the state? Will they do the same thing? Once the refund is returned to them they will mail out a check?

My frustration is that my broker didn't send my tax info so I haven't been able to file yet..... I too wouldn't mind using some of the refund I am expecting...
