Adult Ambilobe wheezing

I have an adult female panther that I was going to try and breed but when I bought her she had a slight wheeze but only when she got upset. I ask the previous owner and he said it could be due to shipping. After a few a months ago by she's wheezing so bad it sounds like she's suffocating cause of the mucus . I've noticed her foaming at the mouth from time to time. I've dosed her with ReptAid for a 10 day cycle and it did some good. I'm thinking since she;s sick she's not going to be receptive or a good idea to even try and breed her.
Fist questions is the lung infection contagous so that my other chams came catch it and become sick as well?
Honestly if any body wants her you're more than welcome the have her. It's sad to say there isn't a vet no where near me the cares for reptiles. I had a friend that took his veiled to the vet I'm referring to and it cost him over $300(only paid$45 and ended up dying anyway). Sorry, not trying to sound cruel but I could buy 2 more to replace her for what it would cost to drive out to the vet plus all the bills and no garrent she'll be better. My male needs a healthy mate VERY BAD! Like I said if anyone interested in keeping her pm me. The only thing I would ask is for whoever to pick p shipping charges and local pick up is welcome. I need to change out bloodlines anyway!

sounds like she just needs some fortaz, my velied had similar symptoms and i got him to the vet and he put him on fortaz and i have 2 shots left and he's not wheezing anymore and is much more active. he stopped wheezing around the 4th or 5th shot out of 9 total

No offense here but why do you want to keep getting chameleons if you cannot provide them proper vet care? That is part of ownership as far as I am concerned. You owe that to your pet when you purchase it. What is to say the male you have or the new female you get won't get sick...then what? Would you not drive them to the vet either because it is too far or too costly? Sorry but had to voice my opinion

It's fair to voice your opinion cause I voice mine! I understand what your saying! I also have expense on my property due to the storms that ripped through my neighborhood too! I've tried researching to see if I could order some medicine to dose her with to get her better so she wont suffer. I've saved my veileds with ReptAid due to parasite problem over a year ago. I'm sorry but you can drive back and forth to vet all you want and spend hundreds upon hundreds of dollars but I don't down live anywhere near a vet that deals with chameleons. I love my chams and I can afford to take care of them so don't assume that! It's the common sense factor that tells me not to spend the money when I could buy 3 more female or spend the money to save one.

So... Once your chams get sick your just going to give it away to buy another?

You have flawed logic. Do you understand the level of unintelligence that post had?

Addressing some of the questions in the original post:

Yes, she might well infect your other chameleons. Hopefully you have kept her well away from them and you should continue to do so. No, you should not breed her when she is ill, it would be beyond cruel.

Perhaps you might try finding someone to adopt her as a rescue? Put a notice in the classifieds here, for example. Or contact the closest Herp association? Or both.... Please be sure to be upfront that it's a rescue, that she's ill. If you cannot afford to pay shipping, make that apparent.
