I'm currently at the vet. His respiratory infection is almost gone if not completely, and his tear duct infection is considerably better. The vet says Waldos chances of living have went from about 50% to 90-95%. This is honestly amazing. After going nearly three months in my care without treatment, he is probably going to pull through. We don't even know how long he had the infection before he was in my care.

He went from 18 grams to 21 grams since the 22nd of November.

I have a follow up appointment in about 3 weeks.

i'm happy to hear this when pandora was sick i didn't want to force feed her her medicine instead i just put it on her feeders and she downed them with out a fuss also i would put it by her nose and she would take it that way. but then again not everone has a good girl like mine. i was blessed

This is excellent news! Shows what can happen when you care enough to do what is needed for them. Taking them to the vet when they need it and following through. Congratulations on a very long road hopefully coming to a happy ending very soon. What a great Cham Dad:D:D:):):D:)

That's great to hear that he's headed the right way to recovery!
Thanks! :)

I haven't gotten around to getting a needle. It doesn't stress Waldo out as much as it used to. He doesn't turn dark anymore when prescribing the meds.

Thanks! Yeah, I would never have let my first real chameleon (That I had more than two weeks) die because of this. I also didn't want to send him back to Chameleon Company because I didn't know if he would have been treated there, and I grew attached to him.

Nevertheless, I am very happy things are going the way they are.

Today he was not interesting in eating... I find that a little weird... Maybe a hunger strike on crickets. Time to order silkworms.

However, I did notice that the swelling in his eye has gone down A LOT. We already know the R.I is under control and probably gone by now, but were still fighting the tear duct infection. It seems to be going in the right direction. :)

How do chams get tear duct infections, anyways?

he does not cry enough, pinch him once a week when done with this:D:p:D:p:D

Obviously I don't know but, So glad they are doing much much better!
