One of our European members, BelgiumLizard mentioned using bean beetles for a feeder here

Follow the link in my response to learn more about this insect.

Does anyone have any experience with these. And does anyone know where can I get them in California?

Edit: I see they can be ordered from Carolina Biological here

I have had them but think they may be a little too hard for baby chams to eat. They are like little pebbles. I didn't try it but the size is good. Like a hydei FF.

flour beetles?

thanks for that observation Ryan. I'm still interested in them. I like the fact that they feed on a high-quality medium (legumes).

Have you tried flour beetles? A.k.a confused flour beetles, or rice meal beetles.
