Hi everyone,
Several months ago, I posted here quite frequently, looking for help with my stubborn and unhappy male veiled chameleon. Charms was refusing to eat crickets, eating / digging around in the dirt, and being antisocial the first few months we had him.
Because of your help, I'm happy to report he's a very big, social, and beautiful thicc boi now! The breakthrough was getting a shooting gallery set up on his enclosure. He didn't want to eat anything except stuff crawling on the wall.
Now, Charms is 154 grams, and is firing off sperm plugs every chance he gets to impress all the ladies. He likes to put on his black eyeliner, goth-style, and hang upside-down and eat bugs off the ground. He's eating much less so I think he's probably nearing his full size after 13 months. He's EXTREMELY expressive and lets us know what mood he's in constantly. He also touches the door of his cage to let me know he wants to come out and sit in the sun outside with me.
Thanks for everything!
