Well I finally got my little beardy. He is even better then I imagined! His girl friend arrives in the morning (still no name).

I picked him up this morning. He is shedding pretty bad right now. I guess the silkies are in constant shed. He is basking now on his rock, he hasn't eaten yet. Did yours eat on the first day?

He ate some crickets straight out of box then very little for about a week. Just started eating more this week.

We had success this morning. I bathed him first thing, put on his lotion and then let him warm up a bit. I then put him on his cool aide and dumped about eight crickets in his tank. He is gobbling them up as I type. So far so good! His gf should be delivered this morning within the hour.

Yes that is where his name came from.. I was going to name his girl friend Naga and go with the A atar theme, but she looked like a Bella to me.
