lol, my bad three days. Try hornworms. My guy ate those out of my hand on the first day...

the thing is hes pooped everyday since i got him but idk whats hes been eating outside (i have him outside) theres not much but gnats outside.i took him outside just now and notice he ate like 3-4 ficus leaves..

Sounds like he could be eating something without you spotting him.........do you keep an exact count on the crickets? Anyway, don't start worrying until he's not eaten anything for a week - they do usually take some time to settle to a new place, and he looks healthy enough to last a while.
Maybe it would help him settle if you weren't taking him out and in again, just leave him out if you are keeping him outside

Maybe  hopefully its not something bad...:(
i take him in and out for uvb cause I think im getting one this weekend and plus my dad and me are making a big cage 4ft tall the one hes in now is 3ft

also the poop he did today is really light brown (even brighter maybe) do you think that poop just consist of the leaves he ate?

I think probably not. If he's pooping everyday then he's eating something except just leaves. How big are these gnats? Maybe he got a few of them - anyway, try to get a few different insects to offer him .https://www.chameleonforums.com/blogs/sandrachameleon/74-feeders.html If you can get him excited enough it might start him eating properly sooner :)
Here's a great all-round caresheet for Veileds - https://www.chameleonforums.com/blogs/chameleonsinmyhouse/395-veiled-chameleon-care-sheet.html

gnats are maybe as small as an ant thats all i can compare it to

Nope i had 3 crickets in a cup like this

i put it in front of him and he looks but he just looks back at me cause hes scared of me  so i leave it in his cage and i guess he doesnt see them...am i doing something wrong?

What size crickets are you offering? They should be no longer than the distance between his eyes. Can you let crickets loose in his cage?, he might be more likely to go for them. You should remove them at night though, so keep a count. He will be scared of you at first, mine is still a bit nervous of me sometimes and he doesn't like crickets enough to hand feed them from me :)

i dont know the size but they are chirping so maybe adults? but even if they are to big (i dont think they are) wouldnt he still go for them? and i cant put them free range theyll get out and the past three days i tried the cup in his cage maybe ill try putting the cup in his cage again?
right now he is sitting by his light staring at me and his chin is puffed up

so i freeranged the crickets and he finnaly ate :D:D:D

Hey, good stuff. It was just 'settling in' then :) I think it would be a good idea to try using a bigger cup, as it's going to be difficult to free range the crickets. I'm sure he'll be eating out of your hands too pretty soon though :D

I use the bottom of a 1 gallon plastic jug placed below and in view of the basking area (about a 1/3 of the height of the enclosure from the bottom) and out of the way of misters or drippers (don't want that dust washing off). It provides:

1. Room for prey items to roam
2. Easy viewing for cham.
3. Easy viewing for you to inventory remaining prey items.

Trying different prey items offers many benefits including nutrition and variety, as well as the chance for your cham to hone it's hunting skills. You'd get sick of eating the same kibble everyday, they do too.
