    Rocko Chillin

Took some new pics of Rocko now in Bodie's old free range. He is now 1 1/2 yrs old and looking good. As some of you know, it took a long time for Rocko to get his colors and for awhile we thought he was Ankarmy but it looks like he is a Red Bar Ambilobe. His sleeping colors glow, but the camera...

    Super Duper Sticky Tongue

Okay, the baby melleri is doing great except........his tongue is so sticky and sticks to everything. It gets stuck to the feeder bowl, limbs, my fingers when hand feeding. I'm afraid he is going to pull it out. What is going on with that?

    Concern for Bodie

I've noticed that Bodie's skin has a white ashy look on the top part of his body. The first pic is tonight and it really shows, there is a pen next to him to show his size. Are his sleeping colors okay? The other pics show the white and his daytime colors. Could he be a "white meller" and can...

I open...

    Rocko's Free Range

I've been having a hard time with Rocko wanting out of his enclosure during the day. This weekend I decided it was time for him to have a full time free range. I just took his enclosure and put it in the dining room and removed the door. Put some tree limbs up, made him a way in and out and he...

    TX Hoppers and Locust

Okay found a Hopper and Locust and was wondering if these are the same types that cham owners in other Countries have and feed. The Field Grasshopper is stout and strong and found in crop fields. I tried to pull off it's back legs because they are so strong and sharp and didn't want to hurt...

    Airport Scanner Problem Solved!

Who thought of this brilliant idea? Here's a solution to all the controversy over full-body scanners at the airports. Have a booth that you can step into that will not X-ray you, but will detonate any explosive device you may have on you. It would be a win-win for everyone, and there...
