My 5 month old Panther keeps opening his mouth. Like really really wide. Also the inside of his mouth is a grayish white. Other than that he's fine. I'm gonna get a fecal for parasites. Thanks.

    Baby and worms?

Mealworms have a hard exoscletiton which can be difficult to digest. Superworms have a soft exoscelliton. I recommend purchasing micro super worms. There are many websites that carry them, but a great one I get all my worms from is Mulberry Farms. Hope this helped!

New panther owner plant questions :)

Umbrella, Ficus, and Pothos plants are great choices. These plants are non toxic, however there are some species of these plants that can be, although almost every species isn't. So before you but any of these plants, do your research on what plants are and aren't toxic.

Yes. Please take the advice of forum members. A lot of the people that responded to your post have responded to almost every single post of mine. Something wrong

Does he have UVB? Also, you need to dust your crickets with more than just calcium. Do calcium at every feeding, calcium with d3 twice a month, and multivitamin. His basking spot is extremely low in temperature. The rest of his cage should be in the mid 70's with a basking spot of about 90...

    Male or Female

Yes. It's a male. However I have seen some females that have similar colors to males when they are babies that I honestly thought were males at first glance.

Can someone tell me what my chameleon has on it

Yes. They excrete salt from their bodies in a similar way that iguanas do on the galapagos islands.

    Switching feeder?

Thanks. I have done that and they have wiggled like crazy. He still hasn't eaten them. I also filled a cup with about 40 of them hoping they would trigger a response, but it didn't. Any thoughts?

    Tolerating/ Hand Feeding help!

Hey guys. So, my new panther is super healthy and is doing well. I have had him for about a week and a half now, and am starting to work on taming. Yesterday, I dropped a cricket in front of his face and put my hand in his cage while he ate it. I did that again and again and then put the...
