New panther owner plant questions :)

I was wondering what type of live plants I should put in King Leonidas' cage. I'm going today to get perches and look at plants. I'm not really a big gardener so could someone explain what steps I should take after buying the plant(getting it clean and safe for my baby). Also I live in Texas if that makes any difference on the plants lol. Also I was wondering if his humidity being between 75-90 all the time is bad for him?

Umbrella, Ficus, and Pothos plants are great choices. These plants are non toxic, however there are some species of these plants that can be, although almost every species isn't. So before you but any of these plants, do your research on what plants are and aren't toxic.

Schefflera arboricola and Ficus benjamina are both great plants. Pothos is great also, I would just avoid the "Golden" variety.

And when I get them home how should I clean them? And I would need to repot them with different kind of soil correct??
