So what's the minimum sun time outdoors would you give your chameleon for it to be beneficial to them? With days like today (60's and FULL sun), it's tempting to take my 4 month old panther outside to get some sun time.
But what would be the minimum time outside? Is 5 minutes beneficial? Or 30...
My first chameleon arrived today! Don't have a name...yet. Any suggestions?

So I'm just about complete in setting up the cage. But wanted to check to make sure that I have it set up properly.
According to Todd, he said to place the basking light in front and the UVB in back. But I wonder if the basking light is too close to the UVB light? I don't want to cause it to...
So I have been trying to set up this Climist system that I got and I'm not too happy. The instructions are like crap...hard to read (faded...bad copies) and not very clear on what to do. Even the online version isn't helpful.

Talk about expensive! I am seriously reconsidering getting one. I know I got too big of a cage, and maybe that's what I need to change, but I...
Hi all,

Here's a picture:
What I'm thinking of doing:
Run mesh around all the sides, making a door either on the side or front (or...
Hi,
I'm new to this forum and thought I would introduce myself. I live in Louisville, KY, hating this snow we got today! ugh.
I used to keep a chameleon (think Senegal?) way back in 1990 when I lived in Florida.
Got back into reptiles about 7 years ago, kept Green Tree Pythons and...
