i was looking through my crickets today, feeding/cleaning, and i saw a HUGE, insect, had the body type of a cricket, but was huge, had big black eyes, and was very very white, and looked like had two pockets on its back, almsot like growing wings. ill try to get a picture later, but that things...
my ambanja x ambilobe male, has a blue and light green body, with dark blue/purple stripes on the body, and towards the tale its complete red stripes. i was wondering if there was a way to tell if hes a red or blue barred ambilobe.
i need some ideas on a drainage system. drip pans just arent doing it for me. i have a 30 x 18 x 30 screened enclosure. and i cant think of an easy way of doing this. let me hear your methods. thanks
i have a 6 month old panther,
i am going to start cutting his food intake, he has been eating about 10-20 medium crickets a day and 2-4 silkworms a day along wiht an occasional waxworm. what should i cut his food intake down to? i feed him crickets and silkworms as staples.
can you keep two 6 months female panthers in the same, 24 x 24 x 48 cage? or would that not work? i know you can keep males in the same becuase they are very territorial but maybe females?
i have a large cricket conatiner. ive noticed that a bunch of carpenter ants have been finding there way into the container. are carpenter ants bad for the chameleon or can they kill the crickets?
my panther chameleon has started to eat the dirt at the base of his ficus plant. like not accidentally hit something and eat it. shooting at the dirt, and licking up the dirt and eating it. im concerned. any suggestions

my panther doesnt seem to just lick the leaves. i often find him actually shooting his tongue completely out on moving water. in the morning he sits on a vine, and hits like 2-5 droplets off of another vine. is this bad?
