    80 watt mercury vapor bulb

I used one for 4 years or so with my male veiled without any issues. He had early stages of mdb when he was younger and for whatever reason I decided to use one of these, with good results.

    Baby furcifer verrucossus uv

Thanks I'll keep an eye on him then. Yeah they are amazing and a bit different! Today I noticed a slight green coming through, can't wait to see the changes as he gets older :D all I have read states that they are generally quite shy chameleons, I'm hoping seen as he is cbb maybe he might end up...

    Baby furcifer verrucossus uv

Today my baby furcifer verrucossus arrived! Yay! He's around 16 weeks old and I've put him straight into a reptile breeze xl. Within minutes he was hunting down locusts, soldier flys and house flys. He even ate a few calci worms right out my hand, result! :p Anyways I am using a 12% t5 arcadia...

    Need some ideas

I'm setting up the enclosure for a young male furcifer verrucossus that I'll be getting soon and looking for some ideas of what else I could do to make it better. It's still looking quite bare and boring to me. I'll probably add another tree in a couple weeks but any other suggestions would be great

    Spiny chameleon supplements?

Thanks alot! Would daily calcium be too much for them? I've always used it daily with my panthers and veiled

    Spiny chameleon supplements?

I'm soon to be getting a 3 month old furcifer verrucossus. All that I have read is that they are kept similarly to veilds or panthers which is fine because I have everything there and already set up. I've not seen much on their supplements though except for to dust with plain calcium once or...

Thanks guys! I'm a bit strapped for cash just now to be splashing out on a solarmeter but I'll definitely be saving for one in the near future! If you can get them shipped to the UK then I will hit you up once I can afford one! :D I've recently purchased the arcadia slimline t5 fixture...

    Uvb meter

Came across this whilst looking for a cheaper uvb meter. Would this give the correct readings for the chams lights? Or would it need to be a reptile specific one? KKmoon Precision Solar Power Meter Light Intensity Measurement Radiation Tester SM206...

Today i fed my chams their first butterworms. My male panther and veiled were fine but my female has taken a reaction to them, it almost looks like she has been burned.

    Panthers won't breed

With mouth open, he just seems to be aggressive. I have them free ranging just now around 5 feet away from each other and seem to be fine just now, would you say either of them look ready?

    Panthers won't breed

Still trying lol. She has been showing her receptive colours for a few months now but whenever and however I introduce the male he just games and lunges for her, even managed to bite her the other day before I had the chance to grab him. Luckily she is ok and it didn't leave a mark. I don't...
