Big Boy Cage for Sparrow Crusoe the Panther

It's certainly worth the trip. I moved here a couple years ago and the fishing is amazing! Do you come up during chironomid season (May-June)?

Really good suggestion. Not something I had planned on doing, but it's high on the ever evolving upgrade list now that you mention it. Thanks for the input :)

Big Boy Cage for Sparrow Crusoe the Panther

New "problem"..the little guy doesn't want to leave his new home lol. He was getting some free-range time everyday but now all he wants to do is chill out amongst the Schefflera. Oh well, there are worse complaints ;)

How do you tame a Panther Chameleon?

We started our guy on phoenix worms at about 4 months. He got a taste for them pretty quick and from there hand feeding was only as difficult as holding onto the worms. We lucked out in that our breeder handled our guy every day and we were able to just build on that. He's now about 7 months and...

    Crusoe

Thanks, bud. He's an awesome little guy that's really tame and chill, which is exactly what we hoped for. Thanks for the willow trellis inspiration, as well. I found some at the dollar store and it works great for the back of his cage.

Big Boy Cage for Sparrow Crusoe the Panther

Well, finally got Sparrow's big boy cage built. Wooden frame, aluminum mesh, 3 doors and basic drainage. He seems happy enough, even though it's his first afternoon/night with the new enclosure. Hopefully he stays that way :D

    Crusoe

Sparrow Crusoe, formerly known as Crusoe :P So I thought I'd throw some new pictures up since he got his big boy enclosure today (finally). He's been showing such different colors since the last photos; not nearly as much blue, but some more reds and oranges. I'll try and get some new outdoor...

    Mistking placement question

So, I've just finished the little guy's new home, 2x2x4 screened cage. I have one mistking nozzle, ordered a second and the girlfriend & I are having a disagreement on placement. I had planned on having both nozzles in the top of the cage, diagonally from each other so the mist has a chance to...

    Bad Press for PetSmart

I agree they aren't all bad. The one here isn't perfect, but it's far from negligent. However, when I went to one in my hometown in Newfoundland, they had some small veileds and I had to get them to check on them because they didn't seem to be doing so well. If press like this helps move the...

My guy does that too. As he get's older, however, the nose grabbing will get less cute and more painful lol

    Crusoe

LOL they did for awhile, I swear! After his last shed he started showing more of those soft blue-greens. He's since shed again and he's showing a bunch of reds and oranges. He fired up for me this morning and had soooo much orange on his shoulders, legs and throat.

    Crusoe

Well, we finally decided on a name for our little guy so it's time to make introductions :D This is Crusoe the Panther Chameleon, so named for his desire to explore as soon as he gets out of his cage even though he has no idea where he's headed. He's from the same Zen Reptiles clutch as...
