    White bumps??

Yes. One vet was an avid reptile owner and has kept chams. The other had been seeing exotics and reptiles for 30+ years. They seemed quite confident in their diagnosis.

    White bumps??

Hmm... any guess why they wouldn’t have prescribed meds in this scenario?

    White bumps??

They thoroughly cleaned the wound and said it should clear on its own. I asked about medication, but they said topical won’t be very effective and that if it worsens then come back for ingested or injection meds.

    White bumps??

I paid a visit to the vet yesterday. Their determination is his skin was punctured in his youth by another cham trying to establish dominance. These wounds, now abscesses, subsequently became infected and never fully healed. There is a pattern of marks on the opposite side of the chameleons back...

    White bumps??

My Panther has these raised bumps I am concerned about. The short arrow’s bump is white, hard, and flaky. The long arrow’s bump is raised (similar to a pimple) and grayish. He came from a private vendor who gave breeding a shot and only had one clutch. He is all around healthy otherwise. Eats...

    Ambilobe needs new home

Hello, Fred is an 11 month old ambilobe panther chameleon who needs a new home due to my current living conditions. He is very docile, and hand feeds. Still has a little bit of growing to do. He has a slight kink in his tail. I believe from a slight calcium deficiency before I had him. The first...

    Choking On Saliva?

Hi, today my almost year old panther chameleon started to "cough". A few minutes earlier I had administered 0.5 mL reptaid in 1.5 mL water with a syringe into his mouth. He has had an upper respiratory for a few weeks now and has had saliva around his mouth. Here is a video of the coughing...

    Fogger ok?

On the lowest setting a small amount of water is used and it does in fact have an auto shut off. So knowing this, do you think it is a safe alternative to misting?

    Fogger ok?

Hello all! So I have a juvi panther and am keeping him in a 18x18x36 reptibreeze. I have a dripper running 24/7. I was wondering if I can run the repti fogger on a low setting all day down from the top of the cage as an alternative to ever misting throughout the day. He is staying hydrated from...

    Bacteria and Fungus spread?

Sadly, I recently had to put down my almost 3 year old panther chameleon Leo. He had a few complications stemming from improper housing while being boarded. He had both a fungal and bacterial infection. My question is, are these transferrable? For instance, in the future if I want to use some of...

    Help!

So my year and half old panther was just drinking and just as he finished doing so he seemed to suck in his stomach until it was all the way inverted. He was opening his mouth very wide and gaping wildy. He kind of ran around the cage in a panick mode in made a final sprint for the top, flailed...

    Chameleon funky hydration

Drooling Is it possible that he could get better on his own or does this have to be treated? Because his drooling used to be daily and now it's every couple days and his eating has sky rocketed since he was drooling constantly.

    Chameleon funky hydration

Hello all! So I have a 1.5 year old ambanja male, and he seems to be having trouble getting properly hydrated. I mist the cage a couple times a day and run a dripper twice a day as well. When the dripper is turned on he will go to the corresponding leaf and drink but only for a very short time...
